Parkcrest Volunteer Microsite

Parkcrest Christian Church asked us for a way to make it easy for people serve in the city of Long Beach, so we designed and build this site that matches people to their talents, interests and passions. We focused on a clean, simple interface that people can easily use to filter through dozens of serving opportunities and get in touch with the people that need their help.

Crackerjack Movie Website

If you can believe it, someone actually paid us to watch movies all day. OK, that’s a stretch, but we did watch the movie Crackerjack to research design ideas for the movie’s website. The site follows the main character’s journey, which is told through the awesome (if we may say so ourselves) custom hand-drawn illustrations we created.

What We Did

Whiskey & Shovels Website

Whiskey & Shovels had a great idea to tell people about their services through a visual story rather than text, so they called us up to help. Together, we created a storyline that follows a character in his search to strike gold in social media, as he passes through hand-drawn scenes illustrated awesomely by yours truly. By using creative movement and illustrations, visitors learn about the company’s services in a fun and engaging way.

Parkcrest Series Campaign

What do you get when a preacher, a sermon and a marketing strategy are in the same room? OK, we won’t go there, but we do help Parkcrest Christian Church with the creative concepts and designs for their monthly sermon series. The church focuses on a new topic or theme each month and calls us in to boil it down to an artistic direction that is used across all its various platforms, from printed brochures and DVD covers to screen graphics and website assets.
